It feels good when you get to learn something, which you never wanted to.
It feels great when you get to learn something which you wanted to and were unable to.
It feels awesome when ten more people learn something because of You.
That's how it feels, a true sense of satisfaction!! Being an inspiring teacher is something not everybody's cup of tea. There is something in the blood, I feel :-) Owe it to my family...

Old habits die hard
When I used to go to board any train, I always ended up reaching the station at the eleventh hour. My dad used to scold me, not for scoring less marks, not for performing badly anywhere, but for doing things always sharp on the time!! And I always used to take these kind of things so lightly that I almost every time ignored that.
And, Things never changed, rather have gotten worse. Starting from reaching class, submitting assignments, preparing for exams, going to meet a friend (well there are some exceptions here, especially when it is a girl :P ) and so on, the same happens. We never save a minute or two by doing so, but I hope to change it soon !!

Yet another move!!
Getting into IISc is yet another achievement for me, I must acknowledge. It is still a dream for me, sitting inside a hi-tech lab doing some research ^^ Whenever i think of that, it reminds me of some chemical labs in movies :P just like how that chemical formula was developed in movie mr. india :D , because research is kind of a mystery for me as of now ;), with absolutely no idea, what do these people do. Being a B.Tech. student, I am supposed to have undergone some research project in final year of degree, but I don't know why were we so stupid to be proud of getting an A grade after doing nothing at all in project :-\ Anyways, I think now I have got the right opportunity, to rectify all of the mistakes I did in graduation, to do what I would love to do and so on.
Life is like a pawn on chessboard. As in when you start from one column, other options are automatically closed for you, unless you make the right moves. And if you don't, somebody else would do that by hitting you ;) and if you are lucky enough to be survived till the end, you would still end up where you began.
When I was studying, I was out of the chess board, waiting eagerly to enter at one of the positions of chessboard and that's when I didn't know of the restricted moves of pawn. When I started working as a Software Engineer, I landed up on one of the 8 positions of the chessboard. This is the first move I am trying to make in my chessboard ;) Let's see what future has in its store for me!!

A nice change
Office life had become kinda daily routine...sometimes waking up early in the morning, going for jogging and then whole day in the office from 9 to 9 and then come back thinking of doing something but before even starting you will be seen snoring :) And then one day, i got to know about my first business trip. Well that was worth a little excitement. And within a week, i heard about visit to South Korea, which is going to be this Wednesday, and that too for 3 months. Everyone from my parents to Didi Jiju to friends, obviously including me, seem to be happy about that. It seems like it would be a nice one to learn, to explore, to enjoy (now that is doubtful as rumors turn this out to be ironical when i heard about my colleague's first off in Korea after straight 28 days of work). Anyways, it would be a nice experience i guess. :)

For Idiot Software Engineers :P
Today i went for the movie "3 idiots". Actually one of the best Hindi movies i have seen. Not because of the fun and starcast of the movie, but because of the message the movie wanted to convey. Atleast some of the people like me goes towards that message, and it is actually great for Indian cinemas that the trend they have been following since some years to spread out some social issues and possible solutions. And ofcourse, kudos to Aamir, coz he is more of an assistant director than a good actor. I have observed that from some of his previous movies like Lagaan, RDB. He actually go for these kind of movies which are a little different from the rest ones coz of its theme.
And, we people, software engineers can actually understand that this trend is actually being followed over some years since these IT companies have started recruiting each and every engineer, be it a Mechanical Engineers, Electronics Engineers(that's a different thing that i am also an Electronics and communication Engineer :P) , or Civil Engineers, who haven't studied a bit of software in their 4 years of acads.
People are working, be it interests them or not. But there is a threshhold for everyone, just like Madhavan left his engineering in final year of his B.Tech., if at all your work is not your passion. It may be possible, that one day, after 10 years working in Software Industry, one quits the job and go for wild animals photography or go to spaceship for the rest of his life. It all depends when your mindset gets to change and you may do something which people, at times, call crazy. And if due to some reasons, this at all cannot happen (which is true for most of people) , mental stress will continue to increase, i guess. And in some way, it comes out resulting frustration and all. So better not to go for something which doesn't interest you rather to go for low earning, but which is your passion. And i can bet that at the later stages, this earning will come out to be the reverse.
Actually a must watch for parents :) and professors :P
